Yum! Yum! Want an easy dinner idea that you can make super quick in your air fryer that is packed with flavor and healthy too? Try this great dish! I mixed shrimp, turkey smoked sausage, fresh veggies and some Slap Ya Mama seasoning, along with some paprika together and popped it in the air fryer. A few minutes later.....dinner is served! I served it with cauliflower rice, but brown rice will be a great choice as well! (My air fryer is a 5.8 quart.)
Here's what you need:
1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails off
1 lb. turkey smoked sausage, sliced in about 1/4-1/2 inch slices
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped or sliced
1 zucchini, chopped
1 T olive oil
1 T paprika
Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning to taste
Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Season with the Slap Ya Mama to taste. You can add more when it is finished, if you want to. Preheat the air fryer to 400. Put the sausage and shrimp mixture in the air fryer and set the time for 5 minutes. Stir, then set the time for 5 more minutes. Stir and cook about 3 minutes more, or until the shrimp is cooked through and the veggies are tender crisp. You can serve with the juice that cooked from the meat and veggies with cauliflower rice or brown rice. Delish!
