Pan Seared Lemon Butter Tilapia

This easy and quick pan seared tilapia is perfect for a busy night! So simple and so flavorful! You’ll love it! You can substitute cod or salmon with this too! Here’s what you need:

4-5 tilapia fillets

salt and pepper to taste

1 T butter

1/2 T olive oil

1/2 t or so paprika

2 lemons

1/2 t minced garlic

Slice one lemon into thin slices. Cut the second lemon in half. Set aside. Heat a cast iron skillet ( or heavy skillet) on high heat. Season the fish with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle evenly with the paprika. Add the butter and oil to the hot skillet, sauté the garlic for a minute. Add the fish. Turn down to medium high heat and cook on one side about three minutes and turn to cook about 3 minutes on the other side. Lay the lemon slices on each piece of fish and squeeze the juice of the other lemon on the fish. Remove the fish from the skillet and serve! Delish!
